| Gasoline vehicles and fossil fuels are the main cause of widespread environmental crises. They have significantly increased the production of greenhouse gases, especially CO2, which have a direct impact on climate change and global warming. In addition, the emission of pollutants such as particulate matter and nitrogen oxides (NOx) causes air pollution and exacerbates respiratory and heart diseases. Single-passenger cars, due to their low fuel efficiency and large numbers, have exacerbated fossil fuel consumption and related pollution. From an economic and cultural perspective, dependence on fossil fuels has led to oil price volatility and the staggering costs of environmental pollution. Also, the car-centric culture and emphasis on private car ownership have led to increased traffic, loss of life, and a decrease in the quality of life in cities. |
