| The effectiveness of two NES configurations, including series and parallel arrangements for the nonlinear springs with third and one-third-order nonlinearities, was assessed. The equations of motion of the beam and the NES attachments were derived using Hamilton’s method and were later used for analysis in MATLAB. The series configuration was found to be more effective than the parallel one. |
