| A UV curable ABS like resin was reinforced with 40 wt% SiC and 2 wt% fumed silica to develop a thermally stable composite for additively manufactured abrasive tools. The composite showed a 103% HDT increase (46.5 °C → 94.4 °C), a delayed degradation onset (220 °C → 245 °C), and higher residual mass at 350 °C (88% vs. 81%). DSC revealed oscillatory heat flow behavior caused by heterogeneous filler–matrix interactions. These combined effects confirm a significant improvement in thermomechanical performance suitable for high temperature grinding applications. |
