چکیده مقاله |
In this work, a micromixer with curved channels is investigated numerically and in two dimensions. Analysis has been done on the laminar and steady flow regimes. To achieve fast convergence, unstructured gridding is used in this work. The grid independence diagram suggests a cell count of 28,000. The findings suggest that a high flow Reynolds number should be taken into account in order to attain the appropriate mixing quality at the output. Based on the retrieved data, it can be observed that the flow in this instance has the potential to collide with more curved walls and that two fluids with varying concentrations may collide as a result of the increased velocity in curved routes, increasing mixing. The results show that by doubling the Reynolds number from 320 to 640, mixing improves by 11%. It should be noted that this increase in the Reynolds number range studied reaches more than 27%, which is a significant amount. |
