چکیده مقاله |
The environmental crisis driven by pollution from fossil fuels has increasingly focused global attention on clean and renewable energy sources. This study examines an integrated system for the simultaneous generation of electricity and green hydrogen, leveraging renewable energy, particularly solar power. The proposed system employs solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) to produce electricity. Hydrogen, required by these cells, is generated via water electrolysis, with the necessary electricity supplied entirely from solar renewable resources. This innovative methodology enables solar energy storage in the form of hydrogen while substantially mitigating pollutant emissions. Simulation outcomes demonstrate that the proposed system effectively meets energy demands, even during peak consumption periods. Additionally, economic analysis reveals that the costs of electricity and hydrogen production in this system are competitive with those of comparable alternatives. Combining different technologies and such as fuel cells, and electrolyzers with renewable and fossil fuels can improve the reliability of the system. |
